Integrations Overview

What this page covers

This page lists the integrations Oxify Cart Drawer supports and what changes on your storefront when you enable each one.

Integration names and options can vary by plan and by which apps you have installed in Shopify. If you don’t see an integration listed in your app, it means it’s not available for your store right now.

Where to find integrations

In your Shopify admin, open Apps → Oxify Cart Drawer → go to the Integrations (or Integrations & Advanced) section. Find the integration you want, then switch it On. Open your theme preview and test the cart drawer (add a product to cart) to confirm the change is showing.

Integration list (and what changes on your storefront)

Review app integrations (star ratings)

What it connects: Your product review app (so Oxify can show star ratings).

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • Star ratings can show on cart items inside the cart drawer.
  • Star ratings can show on upsell cards (example: product upsells, bundles, or add-ons shown in the drawer).

What does not change: Your product page review section stays controlled by your review app and your theme.

If stars don’t show up, make sure your review app is installed and has ratings data for the products you are testing.

Split payment / pay-later messaging

What it connects: Pay-later messaging providers supported by the app (shown as “pay in installments” style messaging).

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • A message or badge can appear in the cart drawer near totals/checkout (example: “Pay in 4”).
  • Customers get a clear reminder that a split-payment option exists before checkout.
This messaging is informational. The actual payment options still happen at Shopify checkout.

Subscriptions (subscription upgrade prompts)

What it connects: Subscription selling (based on your subscription setup in Shopify and/or your subscription app).

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • Customers may see an option in the cart drawer to switch an item to a subscription (or upgrade to subscription).
  • Subscription messaging can appear to explain the benefit (example: save money, get deliveries).
If you don’t sell subscriptions for the product you’re testing, you won’t see any subscription options in the cart.

Good API (Plant Trees / Clean Seas)

What it connects: Good API donation/impact widgets (for environmental causes).

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • A Good API widget can appear inside the cart drawer (in the placement you choose).
  • Customers can see the cause and any donation/impact message before checkout.

Analytics and reports

What it connects: Oxify’s built-in analytics tracking for cart features (upsells, add-ons, bundles, rewards, and more).

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • No visible design change for customers.
  • Oxify starts recording performance so you can see results in your analytics screens (example: which offers get clicks and sales).
If you’re looking for a visual change on the storefront, this integration is not meant for that. It’s for reporting.

Custom HTML block (advanced)

What it connects: Your own custom content (text, badges, links, banners) that you place inside the cart drawer.

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • A new custom section appears in the cart drawer where you placed it.
  • This can be used for shipping messages, guarantee text, promo banners, or links.
Custom HTML can break layout if it’s not written carefully. Keep it simple and always test on mobile.

Custom CSS (advanced)

What it connects: Your custom styling rules for the cart drawer.

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • Colors, spacing, fonts, and other styles can change based on the CSS you add.
  • Customers may see a different look immediately after you publish.
A small CSS mistake can make parts of the cart hard to use (example: hidden buttons). Always preview before publishing.

Theme compatibility settings (custom selectors)

What it connects: Your theme’s buttons and cart counter so Oxify can detect clicks correctly.

What changes on the storefront when enabled:

  • No intentional visual change.
  • Behavior improves: add-to-cart buttons open the drawer reliably, and cart count bubbles stay in sync.

Quick checklist: confirm the integration is working

  • Open your theme preview (not your live theme).
  • Add a product to cart to open the drawer.
  • Check the exact area where the integration should show (stars, messaging, widget, etc.).
  • Test on mobile and desktop.
If you enable an integration and nothing changes, it’s usually because the matching app/data isn’t present (example: no review app installed, no subscription selling plan on the product, or no ratings yet).
