Dashboard Tour

What you’ll see on the Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home screen in Oxify. It helps you finish setup, jump to common tools, and check results at a glance.

Setup guide

The Setup guide is a checklist that helps you get the cart drawer working and looking right.

  • What it’s for: Finishing the basics (like turning features on and confirming they show on your store).
  • When to use it: Right after install, after a theme change, or when something isn’t showing.
The Setup guide is meant to keep you on track. Detailed install and testing steps are covered in the Getting Started pages in this documentation plan.

Quick actions

Quick actions are shortcuts to the most-used areas. Use these when you want to make changes fast.

  • What it’s for: Opening editors and settings without digging through menus.
  • What you’ll typically find: Buttons that take you to the Cart Editor, widgets, analytics, and other top tools.
If you’re making design changes, start with Quick actions. It’s usually the fastest way to reach the editor you need.

Analytics snapshot

The Analytics snapshot is a quick summary of how your cart drawer and offers are performing.

  • What it’s for: Spot-checking results (for example, whether revenue or add-ons are trending up or down).
  • When to use it: After you publish a change, or when you want a quick “health check.”
For deeper reporting (date filters, detailed breakdowns, and interpretation), see the “Analytics and Reports” page in this documentation plan.

Where to find the key editors

Most store changes happen in editors. The two most common ones are the Cart Editor and the Sticky Add to Cart Bar Editor.

Open the Cart Editor

Open the Oxify app in your Shopify admin. You’ll land on the Dashboard. In Quick actions, select Cart Editor. If you don’t see it in Quick actions, open the left sidebar and choose Cart Editor.

Use the Cart Editor to change how the cart drawer looks and behaves (layout, buttons, item display, empty cart, and more).

Open the Sticky Add to Cart Bar Editor

Open the Oxify app and start on the Dashboard. In Quick actions, select Sticky Add to Cart Bar (or Sticky Add-to-Cart Bar). In the left sidebar, open Storefront Widgets, then choose Sticky Add-to-Cart Bar.

Use this editor to control the fixed add-to-cart bar on product pages (what it shows and how it looks).

Names can be slightly different depending on your app version, but they will include the words Cart Editor and Sticky Add to Cart Bar.

Common questions

  • Look for it under Quick actions first.
  • If it’s not there, check the left sidebar for Cart Editor.
  • If you still don’t see it, your Shopify staff account may not have access to this app.
  • Open the left sidebar and go to Storefront Widgets.
  • Look for Sticky Add-to-Cart Bar (sometimes written with hyphens).
  • Make sure you’re editing the correct store (if you manage multiple stores).

Most changes save right away in the app, but what customers see depends on your theme and whether the feature is enabled. Use your theme preview or an incognito window to confirm changes.

If you’re testing changes, avoid judging results from a cached browser tab. Use an incognito/private window to see the latest version.
